Description

The objects for which the Company is established are as follows:- 3.1 To promote the prevention and early detection of alcohol related problems, drug and other forms of substance abuse, gambling addiction, stress and other personal problems and to assist individuals experiencing such problems. 3.2 To promote the welfare and relieve the needs of those affected by alcohol related problems and other problems referred to in 3.1 by: (i) the establishment, promotion and provision and/or assistance in the provision of comprehensive and co-ordinated community services designed to meet the needs of such individuals. (ii) the establishment, promotion and provision and/or assistance in the provision of facilities which appropriately can be provided as an integral part of or as complementary to such services. and (iii) obtaining and maintaining accommodation and services suitable for designation for the purposes of Section 5 of the Criminal Justice (Scot/and) Act 1980 as repealed and re-enacted by Section 16 of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995.
