Description
(l) The objects and purposes of the Charity shall be to promote the objects and purposes of St John Scotland. (b) The Relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage) provision, maintenance encouragement and promotion of all work of humanity and charity for the relief of persons in sickness, distress, suffering or danger, without distinction of race, class or creed and in the extension of the second great principle of the Order embodied in the Motto 'Pro Utilitate Hominum'. ii) the rendering of aid to the sick, wounded, disabled or suffering and the promotion of such permanent organisation during times of peace as may be at once available in times of civil emergencies or war, including the training and provision of technical reserves for the medical services of the Armed Forces or any Civil Defence Organisations. ( c) The Advancement of health) provision of assistance in the maintenance and development of the St John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem and the clinics and research projects connected therewith.
