Description

The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding suicide and mental health and provide support leading to increased quality of health and wellbeing in the Draperstown and Mid Ulster Council areas (“the area of benefit”) through promoting community driven supportive approaches including, but not limited to: (a) provision of education and prevention strategies of suicide and mental health in the area of benefit; (b) provision of a community wide presence that encourages talking about suicide and mental health; (c) facilitating communities to enable them to access a range of supports to improve and maintain mental health; (d) understanding and valuing the connection between physical and mental health by taking a preventative approach; (e) actively building a network of partners who share the Charity’s vision.
