Description

  1. The advancement of the Christian Religion by carrying out missionary and outreach work to promote the positive impact that relationship between the individual and the triune Christian Godhead – Father, Son and Holy Spirit can have. The good news of the Christian message will also be promoted through practical care and support as outlined in the other charitable purposes outlined at 2-5 below. 2. The prevention and relief of poverty: this purpose will be advanced through the implementation of sustainable projects to enable those in deprivation to become self-sufficient and build financial capability. The charity will seek to address poor housing, unemployment, lack of opportunity and alleviation of hunger. 3. The advancement of education: this purpose will be advanced through various mechanisms including (but not limited to): a. School sponsorship programmes where individuals, groups and organisations from Northern Ireland will be encouraged to sponsor children through education. b. Education bursary programme where funds will be raised to support children, young people and adults through education from primary to tertiary level. c. Bespoke development projects to assist individuals and groups to develop capabilities, competencies, skills, learning and understanding. 4. The advancement of health and saving of lives: this purpose will be advanced through sponsorship of medical/surgical interventions and promotion of personal and public health advice/programmes. 5. The advancement of amateur sport through capacity building and organisations to promote positive behaviour, teamwork, health and well-being in areas of deprivation. Charitable events and fundraising opportunities will be organised and occur within Northern Ireland with activities and interventions in advancement of the charitable purposes being carried out in Uganda
