Description
The charity's objects are specifically restricted to the following: (1) To provide opportunities, and services which aim to improve the health & wellbeing of people living in the Derry City & Strabane District Council areas, particularly in the Ballyarnett DEA and the vicinity of Shantallow. (2) To work in close partnership with other statutory and community agencies, to deliver services which help generate an atmoshpere within our community where local residents can live their lives free from fear of intimidation, anti-social behaviour, petty crime, reduce crime and the fear of crime, particularly amongs our most vulnerable residents. (3) To encourage pride in our community, build community spirit, raise awareness and provide support which will enable residents to tackle local issues which will improve the living enviornment in the Shantallow, Outer North NRA, and Ballyarnett DEA. (4) To provide access to quality training, education and recreation facilities to encourage greater involvement in community life for people of all ages and abilities in our community, leading t happier and healthier lifestyles.
