2. The area with which the group is concerned (the “area of benefit”) shall be to promote Beekeeping within the Bannside and District area with a view to reducing the decline in Bee colonies and to improve the well-being of the local community through leisure and education. 3.1 “To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Portglenone (hereinafter described as the "area of benefit") without the distinction of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, political, religious, disability, career or non-carer, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. (a) To provide and maintain a local apiary with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of the decline of bees for the benefit of the members. (b) All property purchased by the group shall remain the property of the group and no one individual. (c) To advance education in Beekeeping (d) To provide and assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit; (e) To promote all or any objects for the benefits of the inhabitants of the area of benefit which now or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable.
