Description
The Associations Purposes ("Objects") are specifically restricted to the following:- (1) Advancement of community development for the public benefit in Ballynahinch and surrounding area ( the "area of benefit"), in particular the promotion of the community and voluntary sector for the benefit of the public by: (i)Supporting and developing initiatives and projects that strengthen the community and voluntary sector in charitable activity and seek to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit; (ii) Organising or assist in organising activities to promote health and well being for residents in the area of benefit; (iii) Providing support services , information, education and training. (2) To provide and maintain a Forum where member organisations can join together to find mutual support, exchange views, share common issues and information, create a collective voice and work in partnership with statutory agencies and authorities. (3) To promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony, equality and diversity.
