Description
The Association is established to advance education and to promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for the participation sports and recreational facilities that may from time to time be identified, for the benefit of the inhabitants (hereinafter called the beneficiaries) in the Mid Ulster Council area (hereinafter called the area of benefit) particularly focusing on 3 key areas; elderly, youth and disabilities and by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to improve the conditions of life for the said beneficiaries and in particular: a) to educate and assist the beneficiaries through various events including sports and recreational activities so as to develop their physical fitness, mental and emotional capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and citizens; b) to advance the education of all participants in the area of benefit by the provision of facilities, courses, training, programmes and resources to enable, assist and encourage the participation of all people within the area of benefit; c) to advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the committee may from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
