Description
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of all areas and it environs (hereinafter described as the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. It will so do by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance historical education an historical background and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, and history education, recreation or other leisure-time outings occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; To establish a community development initiative and to co operate with other relevant organisations (or UUFs) in the promotion of activities by the United Ulster History Forum and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects to advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of all indigenous cultures to the area of benefit.
