Description
The charity's objects are specifically restricted to the following: The advancement of Catholic Faith and Christian belief for the benefit of the public in accordance with the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church and Syro Malabar Catholic Church in particular by 1) The organisation of the celebration of sacraments and religious services , faith formation, prayer meetings, missions and similar events; 2)The training of individuals and groups and production and distribution of literature and broadcasting of information using all forms of media to enlighten others about the catholic faith; 3) The acquisition and maintenance of land and buildings to be used primarily for the above purposes, and also to be available for hire by other community groups; 4)Any other related activities that support the promotion of Christian beliefs in Ireland or any part of the world, including donations to individuals or organisations engaged in the promotion of the Christian Faith; 5)The advancement of any charitable purpose supported by the Roman Catholic Church throughout the world or in any part of the world. Nothing in the articles will authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes, which are not charitable in accordance with section 3 of the Charities Act 2009. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the articles of association of the charity is the law of Northern Ireland.
