Description

To promote the benefit of the male and female inhabitants aged between 14-25 (inclusive) but specifically those aged 18 – 25 (inclusive) of Craigavon Armagh, Banbridge, and their environs (which are hereby defined as the core areas) and regionally throughout Northern Ireland, in the Republic of Ireland and in Great Britain (for strategic and project work) without distinction, of political, religious or other opinion by associating with the Statutory Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the protection of health and for recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants. “To foster, social and community development by providing facilities and services for the benefit of the 18 to 25 year old inhabitants* of Craigavon and Banbridge without distinction of sex, race or political or religious opinion, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, ex prisoner, or belonging to any minority or marginalised group.” To develop strategically targeted interventions for young people that contribute to addressing and managing sectarianism, racism, reasons for disadvantage and marginalisation to deliver training and education to them and those working with them.
