Description
The Company is established to promote the personal and social welfare of young people aged 25 years and under including friends and family (the beneficiaries) in the Antrim Borough Council and its environs in Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said young people and in particular: a) To maintain and manage an accessible centre to provide information, advice, counselling and support to young people on drug and alcohol misuse, education and training, health and sex education and other such matters which are relevant to young people b) To raise awareness for the benefit of the public in the area of benefit about the effects of drug and alcohol dependency and associated illness and methods of prevention or management of such illnesses and other such matters which are relevant to young people.
