Description
The Youth & Community Organisation is established to encourage voluntary and community activity, promote social inclusion, support personal and social development and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the island of Ireland, (hereinafter described as 'the area of benefit') and in particular residents of the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area in Northern Ireland without distinction of of age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, class, marital status, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary and community sector organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities and recreational activities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants and in particular, to maintain and manage a youth and community centre in the area of benefit for activities promoted by the organisation.
