Description
To advance in life and relieve the needs of deaf children, young people and young adults (under the age of 30) living within Northern Ireland and in particular: a) to advance their education, promote their social inclusion and provide support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to live independent lives and to participate more fully within society; b) to help alleviate their isolation and provide recreational and leisure time activities in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life; c) to raise awareness amongst the public of issues effecting people who are deaf both generally and in relation to their equality and issues of social exclusion; d) to relieve the needs of the beneficiaries, and ancillary to the foregoing, the needs of family members of the beneficiaries and by such other exclusively charitable means as the directors will from time to time in accordance with charity law.
