Description
The purpose of Strands of Hope is to support by means of voluntary work and financial assistance to any charitable project for the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, for the relief of sickness and the protection and preservation of health for the benefit of those in need (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) in Lusango, Uganda (hereinafter referred to as the "area of benefit") by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants and in particular to: (a) to advance the education of children in the area of benefit by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment for education and recreation; (b) to relieve sickness among the beneficiaries by the provision of medical facilities and the provision of financial assistance with the costs of medical treatment and the provision of items and services required to ease their suffering; (c) to relieve poverty and hunger in the area of benefit by any charitable means and in particular the provision of food, water and health supplies to the community within the area of benefit;
