Description
The Charitys Objects are to promote the following purposes for the benefit of the public: 1.To advance education within the Traveller community so as to facilitate Travellers in developing the awareness, confidence and skills necessary to realise their potential as individuals, as an ethnic minority; 2.To promote awareness among the settled general public about the experience, needs and cultural identity of Travellers; 3.To promote access to education among Travellers in the greater Belfast area including young Travellers and Traveller men and women, by the provision of educational pre vocational training programmes; 4.To improve the health and social well-being and health status of all Travellers but particularly those who are in conditions of need, hardship, sickness and distress.
