Description

The objects of the Company shall be to provide services and support to carers of all ages without distinction of ethnic identity, age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, political or religious opinion, living primarily in the Southern Trust catchment area, but not exclusively, and in particular: a) to relieve the mental and physical stresses experienced by carers by the provision of advice, support, respite, advocacy and information; b) to provide support to and liaise with individual carers, carers support groups in the area of benefit and other carers organisations offering a platform that ensures the promotion of the needs and rights of carers; c) advance education concerning caring amongst carers, the public and professional and statutory authorities.
