Description

relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Limavady and district area of Co Londonderry and its environs (hereinafter described as the area of benefit) without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious and other opinion, by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; to establish or secure the establishment of a Community Centre (hereinafter called “the Centre”) and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a Centre for the activities promoted the Group and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.
