Description

The objects for which the Association are established are:- 3.1.1 To pursue all and any activities which advance the interest and are for the benefit of the frail and elderly in Northern Ireland including similar problems suffered by those persons who are not elderly but have symptoms similar to those of the elderly and which are in law charitable, including the relief of sickness, distress and general wellbeing and provision for the education and other needs of those so affected within Northern Ireland. 3.1.2 To promote and undertake research into the problems of illness in old age and into the similar problems of illness suffered by those persons who are not elderly but suffering from illness and symptoms similar to those conditions endured by the aged and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the public benefit. 3.1.3 To advance the education of the public of Northern Ireland in all aspects of old age and frailty condition. 3.1.4 To promote and undertake activities for the preservation of physical and mental health or condition of the elderly. 3.2 To promote the rehabilitation, training and care of those persons aforementioned.
