Description
The objects for which the Charity is founded are:- (i) to advance public education and in particular, but without limitation to the generality of the foregoing to establish and maintain a science centre and museum to which the public shall be admitted ( at no or an appropriate charge having regard to the income and expenses of the Charity as the Charity shall consider fit) (" the Science Centre ") at Queens Quay, Belfast with the intent that the Science Centre will contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the education of the general public in particular the people of Northern Ireland; (ii) for the benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.
