Description
The Church is established for the promotion and advancement of the Christian faith, the relief of poverty, sickness, hardship and distress and the promotion of the benefit of the inhabitants in the Armagh area of Northern Ireland primarily and in any other part of the world as the Committee may think fit (hereinafter called the area of benefit) without distinction of age, gender, disability/ability, race, ethnic origin, political, religious or other opinion with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular: (a) to advance the Christian faith and promote Christianity in such ways and in such areas as the Committee may from time to time may think fit, and in particularly but not exclusively through the provision of preaching, the distribution of Christian literature and the education of people in the area of benefit through evangelism and the provision of biblically based teaching, discipleship training, meetings, bible studies and social activities; (b) to train Leaders and Pastors and volunteers so that they may work on projects promoted by the Church in the area of benefit; (c) to train Christians so that they may seek to plant churches and to encourage new, and strengthen existing, partnerships with churches and evangelical groups in the area of benefit; (d) to relieve poverty, sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, including through the provision of counselling and support in the area of benefit as the Committee may from time to time may think fit.
