1.to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in milton keynes who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed (in particular, members of the somali community) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, in particular by:a)providing a local network group that encourages and enables members of the somali community to participate more effectively with the wider community; b)increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for members of the somali community to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.2.to act as a resource for young people up to the age of 18 living in milton keynes by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:a)advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals;b)advancing education;c)relieving unemployment;d)providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons. 3.the prevention or relief of poverty in milton keynes by providing: advice, information and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.
