What is an organisation identifier?
An organisation identifier is a unique piece of text that definitively identifies an organisation.
Examples include charity numbers and company numbers.
Identifiers are usually assigned by an external body like a regulator.
Findthatcharity uses the Org ID scheme to create identifiers.
GB-CHC gives the scheme for this identifier (Charity Commission), while 1147967 is the identifier for this organisation within the scheme.
Description
The Armed Forces Bikers (AFB) is a Veterans Charity. Our main effort is in the raising and granting of funds to support veterans and their immediate dependents in charitable need, if they qualify under our grant policy and as agreed by the charity trustees. We seek to work with other veteran-friendly charities or voluntary bodies, in a multi-agency approach, to offer more effectively help.
