Description

(a) advance the education of muslim children and young people (including college and university students and young muslims in prison) in the islamic religion and way of life, in particular (but not exclusively) by promoting the islamic way of life as peaceful and by promoting religious harmony through teaching respect for other faiths and beliefs;(b) advance the education of school-age children (predominantly those in the muslim community) by providing a homework club, out of school hours activities and classes in such topics as literacy and numeracy;(c) provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for children and young people (predominantly those in the muslim community) who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth and/or social or economic circumstances in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their condition in life; and (d) relieve elderly people who are in need by providing items, services or facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons.
