Description
Such charitable purposes in connection with the regiment as they (administrative trustees) from time to time think fit and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing. 1) in making payments to or for any regular unit or units or any unit or units of the territorial army for the time being associated with the regiment so as to further their military efficiency. 2) in assisting persons serving or having served in the regiment or who have served in the former regiments and their dependants who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress and for that purpose in making grants to any regimental charity of the regiment. 3) in paying subscriptions or making donations to hospitals, homes and institutions having amongst their objects the succour in sickness or convalescence of officers or men who are serving or who have served in any unit or branch of her majesty's forces. 4) in making payments to officers of the regiment so as to defray the cost of exceptional expenditure incurred on regimental entertainment in the counties, of norfolk, suffolk and cambridgeshire. 5) in providing recreation for the men serving in the regiment.
