4 The organisation's purposes are focused on children and young people, with a number of interlocking strands: to offer them learning opportunities in personal, moral and social education, which would include work in schools and in pupils' free time to offer them opportunities for Christian discipleship and spiritual growth to attend to their physical needs and to their mental well-being through their years of growing up, both through family life and as they are individuals to promote ways in which children and young people may support one another and put something into the wider community to include fun and recreation as an integral part of the outreach of Young Crown while upholding Christian faith in its fullness, to uphold equally the need for good co-existence with those of different persuasion.
