Description
The Charity's objects ('the Objects') are: (i) To promote the relief of persons with physical sensory or mental disabilities, to develop their physical and mental capabilities in particular, but not exclusively by the use of computers. (ii) To advance the education of the public in the use of computers in particular for people with disabilities. (iii) To promote and undertake research and to disseminate the useful results in to the use of computers and associated equipment in particular but not exclusively for disabled persons. (iv) To encourage and promote the use of computers to enhance the well being and fulfilment of people with physical sensory or mental disabilities and to develop their physical and mental capacities. (v) To advance education in the use of computers in particular for people with disabilities. (vi) To promote research into aids needed by disabled persons to read, write and generally communicate. (vii) To provide or assist in the provision of information and advice of any type to improve the conditions of life of disabled persons. (viii) To advance and promote for the public. benefit research into the use, of computers and associated equipment, in particular (without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing) for disabled persons. (ix) To assist disabled persons to acquire the use of aids to communicate whether by purchase or hire or otherwise. (x) To provide scholarships for or otherwise remunerate persons carrying out such research and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the benefit of the public.
