Description
The object of the Trust shall be the maintenance, education and advancement in life of beneficiaries, that is to say, children and young persons who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom or would be so resident but for the fact that their parents or guardians are or were temporarily resident elsewhere and who, in the opinion of the Trustees, are in need of financial assistance, with a preference for:- beneficiaries who are or were adopted children. and beneficiaries who are illegitimate, have lost one or both parents or are or have been otherwisedeprived of normal family life. In furthering the object of the Trust and in the exercise of their functions under this Scheme, the trustees shall have regard to the advancement of education in accordance with the principles of the Christian religion as set out and defined in the Apostles' Creed and, in particular, with the doctrines of the Church of England.
