The Charitys objects (Objects) are specifically restricted to the following:- To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of North Belfast and its environs ( the area of benefit) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: (a) advance community development by providing facilities and amenities for, and support and assistance to, community and voluntary groups and organisations; (b) advance health and well-being; (c) relieve poverty; (d) advance education; (e) relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; (f) advance the arts, culture and heritage; (g) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents; (h) promote religious and racial harmony, equality and diversity.
