What is an organisation identifier?
An organisation identifier is a unique piece of text that definitively identifies an organisation.
Examples include charity numbers and company numbers.
Identifiers are usually assigned by an external body like a regulator.
Findthatcharity uses the Org ID scheme to create identifiers.
GB-CHC gives the scheme for this identifier (Charity Commission), while 1157476 is the identifier for this organisation within the scheme.
Description
The charity was initially set up as we wanted to create a happy place in memory of Alice Adams. One of her favourite things to do was build tree houses. We realised that there were not many places around Buckinghamshire that were for teenagers to enjoy. The aim of the charity was to build a positive, happy and safe place for teenagers and young adults to hang out, connect and enjoy the outdoors.
